Performance with Macbook. 2007.
This performance plays the audio feedback through the microphone at the top of the MacBook’s screen. Using the mouth, feedback can be coaxed into different frequencies, playing the laptop as an instrument.
The microphone and camera are placed beside each other. By projecting the camera’s view, the audience has an understanding of the performance gestures, or at least a connection between the sound and the actions—something that’s lacking in most electronic music performance.
