{"id":152,"date":"2015-03-06T17:03:44","date_gmt":"2015-03-06T22:03:44","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.sintheta.org\/mcgene\/?p=152"},"modified":"2015-03-06T17:03:44","modified_gmt":"2015-03-06T22:03:44","slug":"co-location-of-a-large-cluster-of-other-living-e-m84s-abraham","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.sintheta.org\/mcgene\/?p=152","title":{"rendered":"Co-Location of A Large Cluster of Other Living E-M84s &#038; Abraham"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>As you will recall, geneticist&#8217;s\u00c2\u00a0working estimate is that the last major mutation of our male chromosome E-M84 took place about 1515 BCE in a region along the current Syrian\/Turkish border running east from the Mediterranean.<\/p>\n<p>A previous posting reported that Russian geneticists have determined that there is a 50% chance that we share that Y-chromosome with Abraham.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;ve just learned that a cluster of more than 1,000 <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">living<\/span> males carrying our Y-haplotype (E-M84) is centred in the Turkish city of Gaziantep which is 90 crow fly miles west of\u00c2\u00a0Harran. \u00c2\u00a0Abraham&#8217;s family came from that area, ancestors and his brother were named\u00c2\u00a0Haran and therefore it is believed that Harran was named after one of those\u00c2\u00a0ancestors. \u00c2\u00a0Also, it is where\u00c2\u00a0Abraham, his wife, his father and his nephew traveled \u00c2\u00a0after leaving Lower Mesopotamia. Abraham and his wife Sarai probably went via Gaziantep a little further west and then south to Canaan. \u00c2\u00a0Gaziantep\u00c2\u00a0is only 70 miles from the Mediterranean.<\/p>\n<p>Gaziantep has a population of 1.4 million and 4 universities.\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0It is\u00c2\u00a0among the oldest continuously inhabited cities\u00c2\u00a0in the world, probably due to being situated on trade routes.<\/p>\n<p>Both Harran and Gaziantep are close to the horrible conflict in Syria. \u00c2\u00a0Gazaiantep is less than 20 miles from the border and 60 miles from Aleppo.<\/p>\n<p>Other\u00c2\u00a0Middle Eastern 1000+ clusters of E-M84 include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Beirut, Lebanon<\/li>\n<li>South Israel<\/li>\n<li>Cyprus<\/li>\n<li>Cairo<\/li>\n<li>Medina<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>As you will recall, geneticist&#8217;s\u00c2\u00a0working estimate is that the last major mutation of our male chromosome E-M84 took place about 1515 BCE in a region along the current Syrian\/Turkish border running east from the Mediterranean.
